Early intervention on first phases of psychosis has a positive impact on symptoms and clinical development. As a result it is essential to reduce time between the first episode of psychosis and the moment when services take responsibility of the case, in order to prompt the maintenance and recovery of social role, a satisfying remission of symptoms as well as the reduction of the likelihood of the disease to become chronic. Based on these considerations, the Innovative Project of Early Intervention on Psychotic Onset in CPS (psycho-social centers) in Vimercate, Vaprio d’Adda, Seregno and Cesano Maderno was set up in ASST in Vimercate in 2006. This study has the aim to illustrate: -Organization of our Project; -How a patient is sent to the Project; -Assessment instruments; -Criteria which taking responsibility of the case is based on; -Rehabilitative and therapeutic options. We also have the objective to quantitatively describe the users of the Project nowadays, differentiating in relation to genre, age and diagnosis, number of discharges and drop-outs, considering patients in charge between January, 1st, 2016 and June, 30th, 2016.
